Antique Victorian Sailor's Valentine Dresser Box

Exquisite shell encrusted dresser box.  Made from paperboard that has been marbled and forms a check pattern.  The inside compartment is red. 

Measures approximately 5.5" H to the highest point and 4"W.

Disclosures: Wear is consistent with age and use.  There are a few cracks around the edges of the paperboard and a shell is missing (see pictures).
